About Me
Casimir Chijioke Ofor is a distinguished medical doctor, researcher, and academic from the Ozofor family in Umu Ozo Ojielo, Umuzoike, Amube Evuazu, Obeleagu Umana, Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria.
He holds a Ph.D in Pharmacology and Therapeutics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and serves as a lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at both Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu Alike, Ikwo, and Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, Nigeria. With extensive experience in medical education and research, he is committed to advancing knowledge and academic excellence in pharmacology.
In addition to his expertise in pharmacology, he is a Health Policy expert with an MSc in Health Policy and Health Systems from the African Institute for Health Policy and Health Systems, Ebonyi State University—an affiliate of the World Health Organization (WHO). His work in health policy reflects his dedication to improving healthcare systems and policies.
Beyond his medical and academic pursuits, he is deeply rooted in the values of Igbo culture and tradition, with a strong passion for humanity and nature. His scholarly contributions extend beyond medicine, as he is also a prolific writer, authoring books and articles on Health, Pharmacology, and the rich history of Igbo culture and tradition.
